CalGeo is the only association focused solely on issues that matter most to geo-professionals and related businesses in California.  Its purpose and commitment is to educate geotechnical professionals, advocate for geotechnical issues, expand geotechnical opportunities and connect the geotechnical industry.

The California Geological Survey is one of the oldest geological surveys in the nation. Its mission is to provide scientific products and services about the state's geology, seismology, and minerals that affect the health, safety, and business interests of the people of California. 

The American Society of Civil Engineers is a leading provider of technical and professional conferences and continuing education, the world’s largest publisher of civil engineering content, and an authoritative source for codes and standards that protect the public.

AEG is the acknowledged international leader in environmental and engineering geology and is greatly respected for its stewardship of the profession. AEG offers information on environmental and engineering geology useful to practitioners, scientists, students, and the public. Other geoscience organizations recognize the value of using and sharing AEG's outstanding resources.

The ISSMGE is the pre-eminent professional body representing the interests and activities of Engineers, Academics and Contractors all over the world that actively participate in geotechnical engineering.

As a truly global organization, the ISSMGE provides a focus for professional leadership to some 90 Member Societies and around 20,000 individual members.  

The Geotechnical Testing Journal informs the profession of new developments in soil and rock testing and related fields; provides a forum for the exchange of information, particularly that which leads to the development of new test procedures; and stimulates active participation of the profession in the work of ASTM International Committee D18 on Soil and Rock and related information. 

The Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering covers the broad area of practice known as geotechnical engineering. Topics include foundations, retaining structures, soil dynamics, engineering behavior of soil and rock, site characterization, slope stability, dams, rock engineering, earthquake engineering, environmental geotechnics, geosynthetics, computer modeling, groundwater monitoring and restoration, and coastal and geotechnical ocean engineering.  

Soil Science Society of America Journal, the flagship journal of the SSSA, publishes basic and applied soil research in soil chemistry, soil physics, soil pedology, and hydrology in agricultural, forest, wetlands, and urban settings. SSSAJ supports a comprehensive venue for interdisciplinary soil scientists, biogeochemists, and agronomists. 

 The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) is a nonprofit trade association representing more than 1,600 member companies.  Our mission is to promote and protect the industry to ensure our members'​ success in providing homes for all Southern Californians. 

 NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is the leading organization for developers, owners and investors of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate. At the national level, the organization represents more than 18,500 commercial real estate professionals who gain from unparalleled networking, trend-driven research, educational programs and powerful legislative representation. 

 Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA) is volunteer-led and governed by its members and has served the union-heavy construction industry since 1974. SCCA was established to maintain high professional standards among construction contractors by encouraging sound business methods, efficiency, and cooperation between contractors, raising the industry standard. Our Association opposes unfair trade practices by promoting better relations between individuals and organizations with which construction contractors conduct business regularly, and to advocate for legislation insuring the equitable development of the Nation and State. 

 The American Institute of Architects California (AIA CA) is the voice of the architecture profession, dedicated to serving its members, advancing their value, and improving the quality of the built environment. AIA CA is an association of individuals, with more than 11,000 members including licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners in design. All share their commitment to excellence and livability in the nation’s buildings and communities.
